About This Tool

Initiative Tracker keeps combat turn order straight at the table. Add combatants with a name, type, and initiative modifier, roll or enter their initiative, and the list sorts itself automatically. Step through turns with one click, track HP with quick damage and heal buttons, and mark combatants defeated so Next Turn skips right past them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Initiative Tracker free to use?

Yes, completely free, with no account or sign-up required.

Can it roll initiative for me?

Yes — set a modifier and click the dice icon to roll 1d20 plus that modifier, either when adding a combatant or afterward by clicking its initiative number.

Does it track HP too?

Yes, each combatant has a current and max HP you can adjust with quick damage and heal buttons.

Can I add a group of identical monsters at once?

Yes, set a quantity when adding a combatant and it creates that many numbered copies, each with its own independently rolled initiative.

Does it skip defeated combatants automatically?

Yes, marking a combatant as defeated removes them from the turn order without deleting them, so Next Turn skips straight past.

Is this only for DnD?

No — it's system-agnostic, so it works for DnD, Warhammer 40k, Pathfinder, or any tabletop game with turn-based combat.
